Ancient Crimean Burials Uncover Gold and Silver Jewelry of Wealthy Women
Archaeologists in Crimea have made a stunning discovery at the Almalyk-dere necropolis on the Mangup plateau, near Sevastopol. The new finds include intricate gold and silver jewelry, shedding light on the lives of elite members of society from the late fourth to the sixth century.
