A crazy natural disaster just got declared in Australia after some insane floods in New South Wales. Like, seriously, more than four months’ worth of rain decided to show up in just two days – and sadly, one person didn’t make it through.
So, this 63-year-old dude was found in a flooded home about 186 miles north of Sydney. It’s a rough time in that town, man. Farms are getting washed away, and roads are straight-up destroyed. And get this, the cops are saying they’re super worried about three other people who are missing – a 60-year-old lady and two dudes aged 25 and 49. Not looking good, folks.
The situation is looking pretty grim, with the New South Wales Premier Chris Minns telling ABC News that more bad news is probably on the way in the next day. Brace yourselves, people. It’s about to get even rougher. And get this, around 50,000 peeps have been told to get ready to isolate because things might just get worse before they get better. Whole towns are getting cut off, over 100 schools are shut down, and about 5,300 homes and businesses are in the dark without power. It’s a mess, dude.
